Report and CLOC Session to Focus on AI, CLM, and Law Department Transformation

NEW YORK – May 9, 2023 — Cimplifi, an integrated eDiscovery services and contract analytics provider, announced today a new report on the trends driving change in corporate legal departments that offers practical guidance on the current and future state of affairs of CLM and AI. The Cimplifi session at CGI will be held on Tuesday, May 16, at 2:40 p.m. in Bellagio 5.  Leading the session will be Stuart Brock, senior vice president, contract analytics and lifecycle management. Brock is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to global procurement strategies and the application of artificial intelligence. He focuses on strategies, implementations, and delivery of contract analytics programs that drive key business outcomes that support client organizations digital transformations.  Aided by client success stories, Brock will demonstrate client solutions that tackled contract compliance, increased transparency in contracts, and reduced business risk in the process.

The legal operations report, “The Expanding Influence of Legal Operations: An Inside Look at AI, CLM, and Law Department Transformation,” available for download on the Cimplifi website, was produced by Ari Kaplan Advisors and is a follow-up to the report, “Modern Legal Operations: At the Convergence of Law and Business,” produced last year. Kaplan interviewed 50 corporate legal operations leaders for this new report for insight into how corporate law departments are incorporating AI into their CLM implementations, their concerns with selection and implementation, and where the market for these tools is headed.
