By achieving this Advanced Specialization for the SMB market, Open Door demonstrates its ongoing commitment to helping businesses of all sizes make a move to the cloud. Thorough knowledge, extensive experience, and proven success in providing cloud-based services to small and medium businesses are the base requirements for this specialization.
Partners who achieve this advanced specialization have already accomplished Gold in either (or both) Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions and Cloud Business Applications and are pursuing further excellence through technical enablement, training, and practice building.

This achievement comes while Microsoft is altering and extending the necessary requirements and making both competencies and advanced specializations harder to obtain.
To meet these requirements, Open Door had to remain in good standing with their Gold Cloud Competencies and further demonstrate their expertise through a series of exams and customer engagements. Partners who earn an advanced specialization employ at minimum five individuals who have passed the Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate certification and have, at minimum, ten related deployments with five or more monthly active users. Additionally, partners must have at least a 35% growth rate in new user acquisition over the previous 12-months and at least one offering on AppSource.
